TOPS — Trans-Oropharyngeal Spacer

Problem: Inhaler technique failure compromises asthma and COPD outcomes.
Solution: A patented oropharyngeal spacer that standardises aerosol delivery and improves rapid AFB confirmation through fibre-optic bronchoscopy.
Impact: Presented at the World Allergy Organisation, Mexico (Dec 2011); validated in a Saudi Arabia study (2012).

Patent — Patented product of PRAN Clinical Industry.

Problem: Conventional nebulisers were dependent on continuous electrical supply.
Solution: Mechanical pump nebuliser deliverable in field and rural conditions.
Impact: Adopted as an emergency-medicine tool and presented at successive Annual Conferences of the Association of Emergency Medicine.
